PhilsFirst sponsors Silliman Alumni Golf Tournament

MANILA – The Silliman University Alumni Association Metro Manila Chapter Incorporated (SUAMMCI) held a golf tournament last July 15, 2016 at the Ayala Greenfield Golf and Country Club. One of the major sponsors of the tournament was PhilsFirst Insurance Corporation represented by its President, Mr. Cres Bendijo.

Around 30 golfers participated in the tournament and Mr. Cres Bendijo came out as the Over-all Champion. Mr. Bendijo is a member of Southwoods Golf and Country Club and an alumnus of Silliman University. He is also recipient of the Outstanding Silliminian Award (2004) in the field of Business Management.

SUAMMCI conducted the tournament in partnership with HERO FOUNDATION, a 27-year old civic organization which was organized by the late President Cory Aquino to help orphans of Filipino soldiers with regards to their financial needs for their education.
